Basil... my new puppy

Meet Basil, he is my new puppy who was saved
from a puppy farm (how could you not love that face)

He is a Pug x Bulldog and was 5months when i received him.(I've only had him a month)
His brother was also rescued but sadly i could not take x2 so a foster family was found until
a more permanent home was found for his brother.

Basil is a little bundle of joy, and loves sleeping & chewing thing's as much as he can! I had a dog as a child (i cant really remember though) so this is a whole new experience for me, x2 walks a day, making sure I'm home to feed him

(and not out to dinner with friends) BUT I'm totally up for the challenge & lifelong commitment.

It wasn't all  smooth sailing when basil first came home..after a lot of googling we worked out he had a VERY bad case of separation anxiety!!!! At times i wanted to pull my hair out!!!
But with a lot of patience, attention & the help from good friends (thanx Elliott & Matt) who helped
with some basic training.... and a few visits to 'Pugwood' (more in a later post) to socialize him with other dogs.
Stay tuned and follow Basil's progress in future post's

He is such a poser and a calendar puppy lol
